Terms of Service

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using ValidGrid AI. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Service Description and Limitations

ValidGrid is a documentation aid designed to help new-home buyers organize evidence and track warranty deadlines. ValidGrid is not a licensed home inspection service, nor do we provide legal advice.

While our platform utilizes AI to evaluate captures—and every finding is confidence-scored and reviewed by a human—we do not promise that our evaluations are exhaustive or without error.

User Responsibilities

ValidGrid prepares claim-ready packages, but the user remains solely responsible for submitting their own warranty claims to the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Tarion) before the statutory deadlines expire. ValidGrid is not liable for missed deadlines, rejected claims, or disputes arising from the use of our generated reports.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use ValidGrid only for its intended purpose of documenting your property. You may not:

  • Submit fraudulent, deceptive, or maliciously manipulated photos or information.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or compromise the security of the platform.
  • Use the service for commercial inspection purposes unless explicitly authorized under an enterprise agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ValidGrid AI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Your use of the service is at your sole risk.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
